ONCE AGAIN, ESTONIA AND ITALY TOGETHER FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF SMALL PORTS

The collaboration between the Magna Grecia Mare Association together with the Port Museum of Tricase and the Estonian specialization school Hiiuma Ametikool Vocational School has been renewed again this year.

To describe the experience and the now many years of collaboration, we borrow what is reported on their Facebook page:

“If the season is now slowly catching on in Estonian ports, preparations have been made since January in the Port Museum of Tricase, Italy, despite the fact that this spring has turned out to be colder and stormier than usual for Italy.

As part of the Erasmus+ project, Airi Raamat, head teacher of our specialization in small ports and Kadi Mustasaar, project manager, visited the Port Museum of Tricase where, together with the representatives of the Magna Grecia Mare Association, the possibilities were discussed and long-term study tour activities.

The welcome was warm like like in a family!

Gregor, a pupil who arrived later, was involved in the preparation of the port, in the safety of the boats before the storms, in the construction of a new vessel.
Gregor’s study trip lasted four months and provided a good picture of the exemplary collaboration between the local community”.
