COMMUNITY AND DISTRICT SHORT ARTISTS’ RESIDENCY PROGRAMME (BRACT) IN TRICASE. 2020 CALL

As part of the project MUSE – “Development and valorisation of port museums as natural and cultural heritage sites”, CIHEAM Bari is launching, in partnership with the Municipality of Tricase, a competition to select 9 artists or groups of artists for a one-week artist residency from 09 May to 11 July 2020 to live and work in Tricase Port Museum.

The competition is open to all individual artists or groups of artists (max 4 people) from all over Europe, working in the field of visual arts, music, dance and theatre.

The artist residency re-proposes a format successfully run across Italy, known as B.R.A.C.T. (Community and District Short Artists’ Residency Programme) to support the activity of arts production in different areas, strongly believing that art is a valuable tool to promote the territory.

The common theme of the 2020 residencies is ” Between land and sea: the coast, a borders and connection world”. ”
